Our complimentary Meet & Greet calls are a great way to learn more about our services and see which might be the best fit for you. During this call, we will start to get to know your family and hear about your concerns so we can guide you through the process of getting started.

This one's on us!

Our comprehensive Evaluations & Assessments can help identify potential causes of challenging behavior and/or help you learn more about your child’s abilities and performance across a variety of skill areas. Our team will guide you as you select from several assessment options, all of which are supported by empirical research.

Direct ABA therapy takes place in the family's home and uses a 1:1 child to therapist ratio.

The therapist works directly with your child, while supervision and coordination is provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Parent Support &
Professional Support

behavior support for your child & family

Our Consultation Sessions are perfect for families or professionals who would like to discuss their questions and concerns with a BCBA, but may not be ready for or need ongoing services.

These sessions take place via video call and allow you to talk through your concerns with a BCBA in detail. The BCBA will provide recommendations that you can try on your own. With no long-term commitments required, you can follow up and schedule additional sessions as you go.

Interested in more consistent, ongoing support for your child or student? Our Ongoing Support model is completely customized for your family's needs and can be offered in the home, school, or daycare setting. Parents and professionals can ask questions, discuss their concerns, and receive recommendations from a BCBA.  The BCBA can also observe and work one-on-one with the child to determine which interventions will be most beneficial. Side-by-side coaching and feedback is used to help parents and professionals feel confident putting these recommendations into practice in every day life. This model uses a consistent, ongoing schedule so the BCBA is there to guide parents and professionals every step of the way!

Success Stories

Sibling Conflict

Joey and Michael -- brothers who are two years apart -- were struggling to play together after school. Not wanting to share their toys was leading to meltdowns almost every day. Their babysitter just didn't know what to do anymore. The same would happen when Mom and Dad came home from work and after a long day, they would understandably lose their patience. When the parents called BSL for support, we used our family-centered approach. The parents and babysitter worked together with a BCBA to identify successful strategies. Joey and Michael learned important social and play skills, like sharing and taking turns. They also learned to manage their emotions using coping skills, which led to a major decrease in tantrums for both boys.

Bedtime Routine

Mom and Dad were at a loss. No matter what they tried, they couldn't get Abigail to sleep in her own bed and their bedtime routine was a "nightmare" lasting well over two hours. Everyone was tired and at a breaking point when the parents reached out to BSL. After a few consultation sessions, Abigail began sleeping on her own throughout the night with just one check-in! They had established a calm and consistent bedtime routine that worked for everyone, leading to improved quality of life for the whole family.

Homework Completion

Zoey, a 4th grader, was an excellent student. Her teachers reported nothing but good grades and cooperation in class. Her mother just couldn't understand why getting her to complete her homework each evening was such a battle. Mom researched and tried every strategy she could think of but was at her wits end. She called BSL for guidance and saw improvements in just a few weeks. The Ongoing Support model was just the hands-on guidance she was hoping for. Mom shared that this support not only made homework time much smoother, but had also improved her relationship with her daughter.

Inclusion at School

Luke's teacher reached out to BSL for support in the daycare setting. Luke, a preschool age student with Autism Spectrum Disorder, was having difficulty on the playground with his peers. Luke was showing interest in playing with others but would shy away when his teacher would encourage him. Our BCBA observed the student at the daycare to identify effective behavior strategies that would help. She then provided staff training and side-by-side coaching with the daycare staff until they felt confident using the strategies on their own. This approach helped Luke learn to interact with friends on the playground and opened new doors for inclusion opportunities at school.
